The 61 Ghosts have a great history of rock n roll running right through there bones. They are a duo based band that definitely loves to fire up the crowd at every “live” show when out on tour. Joe Mazzari the lead guitarist and front man toured and recorded with the late Johnny Thunders of the Heartbreakers and the NY Dolls. He has been playing with great musicians for many many years. He recorded with the legendary producer Jimmy Miller ( Rolling Stones, Traffic, and Motorhead) and John Peel of the BBC. Dixie Deadwood is fantastic on the drums. You can feel her energy at every “live” show all the way to the back of the room. In the last few years Dixie was touring with Leo “Bud” Welch an established Mississippi bluesman. They played some great festivals all over the globe and the one we love the most is right here in the states ~ Telluride Blues Festival in Telluride, CO.
